Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Career Counselor to join our team. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions with clients to assess their interests, skills, and career objectives.
  • Administer and interpret career assessment tools to help clients gain insight into their strengths and preferences.
  • Provide personalized career guidance and advice to assist clients in making informed decisions about their career paths.
  • Develop and implement individualized career plans that align with clients' goals and aspirations.
  • Offer assistance with resume writing, cover letter preparation, and job search strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars on topics such as interview preparation, networking, and professional development.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and developments in the job market to provide relevant and up-to-date information to clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and professional standards.
  • Collaborate with other members of the career counseling team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, human resources, or a related field required.
  • Professional certification in career counseling (e.g., National Certified Counselor, Certified Career Counselor) preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in career counseling or related field.
  • Strong understanding of career development theories and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in administering career assessment tools and interpreting results.
  • Knowledge of job search strategies, resume writing techniques, and interviewing skills.
  • Familiarity with career resources and online job search platforms.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
