Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Service Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing essential support and assistance to individuals and families in need within our community. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify the needs and strengths of clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to address client goals and objectives.
  • Provide advocacy and support to clients in accessing community resources and services.
  • Deliver counseling and guidance to individuals and families facing various challenges.
  • Facilitate group sessions and workshops on topics such as life skills, employment readiness, and financial literacy.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in community service or social work is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to empathize and connect with diverse populations.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.
  • Familiarity with local social service resources and networks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Willingness to adhere to ethical standards and confidentiality protocols.
